May4 - Club Shoot, Bowling! Come and try it!
May1- Club Meeting 7:30pm
May 31-June 1 MAC Shoot at Aurora West Forest Preserve. This will be the 3D leg of the Club Championship.
*** 2008 WAIVER REQUIRED ***
All shooters at the Lippold Center and any other Auroraland Archers venue must sign a new waiver every year BEFORE being allowed to participate. This is required in order to meet the obligations to our insurance provider. The waiver book is kept on the counter. This requirement applies to EVERY SHOOTER, not just club members.
May Club Meeting
Our next meeting will be Thursday, May 1 at 7:30 at Lippold Center on Route 25 in Batavia.
New Time for Bowhunter League
The starting time for Bowhunter league has been changed to 7:15 by Dave Shumway. Please note the new time!
Annual Awards Banquet
The Awards Banquet was held at Fisherman’s Inn on April 20, about 50 people attended. Awards were as follows;

Club Championship
The 3D leg of the Club Championship will be held on the weekend of the MAC shoot May31-June 1
The Target Round will be held the morning of the Club Picnic, August 3rd.

April Club Shoot
Our April Club shoot was held on Sunday, Apr 6. This was an IBO Paper Animal Round. Due to the lack of shooters this was deemed a fun shoot.
New Archery Game!
There has been proposed a new game of Bowling suggested using the 450 face and having two person teams like the regular game. You will have the choice to shoot one or two arrows in order to make a strike or spare. Any input or questions go to Dale Dobbins
Practice Fees
Practice Fees for ALA Members at Lippold center are currently:
$1.00 for paper targets ($0.50 if prepaid in league)
$1.00 for white broadhead block – NO field points on this target)
$5.00 for non club members
NOTE – Broadheads MUST NOT be shot at 3D animal targets or at the wall.
