*** 2008 WAIVER REQUIRED ***

All shooters at the Lippold Center and any other Auroraland Archers venue must sign a new waiver every year BEFORE being allowed to participate. This is required in order to meet the obligations to our insurance provider. The waiver book is kept on the counter. This requirement applies to EVERY SHOOTER, not just club members.

June Club Meeting

Our next meeting will be Thursday, June 5th at 7:30 at Lippold Center on Route 25 in Batavia.

New Time for Bowhunter League

The starting time for Bowhunter league has been changed to 7:15 by Dave Shumway. Please note the new time!

Speaking of Awards

If you shot a Robin Hood during the last two leagues, please let Dale Dobbins know so we can give you the award that was made for this.

Club Championship
The 3D leg of the Club Championship will be held on the weekend of the MAC shoot May31-June 1
The Target Round will be held the morning of the Club Picnic, August 3rd.


May Club Shoot

Our May Club shoot was held on Sunday, May 3.
This was the first time for the game of Bowling and the results are as follows.
1st Dave Shumway & Paul Pizzo 145,144,179=468
2nd Dave Bray & Ray Hatfield 147,130,95=372
3rd Jim Gellner & Jason Wesbrock 121,88,99=308
A lot of fun was had, and a wish that more had participated.


New Archery Game!

There has been proposed a new game of Bowling suggested using the 450 face and having two person teams like the regular game. You will have the choice to shoot one or two arrows in order to make a strike or spare. Any input or questions go to Dale Dobbins

Practice Fees

Practice Fees for ALA Members at Lippold center are currently:
$1.00 for paper targets ($0.50 if prepaid in league)
$1.00 for white broadhead block – NO field points on this target)
$5.00 for non club members
NOTE – Broadheads MUST NOT be shot at 3D animal targets or at the wall.
